Aritra Chatterjee, PhD
Welcome to my website! I am currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at BITS, Pilani, Hyderabad campus. My research interests lie broadly in the area of (but not limited to) mechanical characterization and constitutive modelling of soft and biological materials, multiscale mechanics tissues and bioinspired materials, cell mechanobiology and role of mechanics in the growth and remodelling of living systems. I am passionate about interdisciplinary research and always open to brainstorming new ideas at the intersection of mechanics and biology. Feel free to reach out to me if you want to work with me or for any further information, questions and prospective collborations...
